Michael Dodds, MAI, CCIM has been active in the commercial real estate appraisal profession for 35 years. He was awarded the prestigious MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute in 1991 and has prepared appraisals or market studies on properties throughout 27 states nationwide. 

Mr. Dodds has served in a variety of leadership roles within the appraisal profession, including:

• 2003 – President of the SC Chapter of the Appraisal Institute
• 1998 – 2003 Board Member of the SC Chapter of the Appraisal Institute
• 1994, 1995 & 1997 – Delegate to the Appraisal Institute Young Advisory Council
• 1996 -1998 Board Member of the SC Chapter of the CCIM Institute

In 2012, Governor Nikki Haley appointed Mr. Dodds to the South Carolina Appraisers Board, and he still serves on the Board today.

Mr. Dodds currently holds active Certified General Appraiser Licenses in South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina.
